  • Encouraging and supporting ongoing works, groups and individuals already engaged in these areas.

"When I was looking to build a team of people who could minister at a new age fair in the north of England, Colin Brice and Eden People were very supportive towards our efforts, in terms of providing practical advice and assistance, so that our dreams could be possible. Colin Brice's quietly enthusiastic manner and artistic flair added so much to our team dynamic at the Manchester new age fair. Colin's passion for people, his servant heart and his ability to relate the gospel to the emerging cultures around has been an inspiration."

The Franciscans continue: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, in fidelity to the Church, living in brotherhood, in poverty, chastity and obedience, working for those in need and for justice, for the respect due to all people and to all creation, promoting harmony and peace.

Contributor ... Group for Evangelisation (The Secretary GfE)
This Group is unique! It acts like the evangelising heart for the Body of Christ. Here denominational leaders and agencies with responsibility for mission and evangelism in England meet. We face the hard issues, assess new opportunities, and promote cutting edge initiatives. What is more, we do it together and we do it prayerfully.

Essentially however, we exist to serve all the Christians in our land to help them fulfil Christ’s mission here. Consultations, conversations, web sites, publications and a nationwide tour are just some of the ways we seek to engender and promote thoughtful and effective evangelism. Each person on the group contributes and each person is better equipped when they work in their own sphere of influence, because they belong to the Group.

Without GfE, life would be poorer, not only for the members but the whole body of Christ and ultimately our country.

Contributor ... Journey into Wholeness (Mrs Sally Coleman)
The whole initiative started out in Colchester Essex where a group of like minded folk from a variety of different churches got together to place a Christian stall into the Mind Body Soul Exhibition in Colchester’s Charter Hall. I was privileged to be asked to be involved in this project for the 2002 exhibition. With two years of experience behind us we found that we were learning a new language to communicate the gospel message to spiritual seekers, and were making significant progress in developing a meaningful dialogue not just with the “punters” but also with the exhibition organisers and the other stall holders. Encouraged by this we felt that it was right to go ahead and plan a stall for the 2004 exhibition.

Contributor ... Juiced! (George Coles)
I am sixteen year old school student from Coventry, and a year ago a few friends and I felt God calling us to evangelise to the people in our school. The first thought was to form a CU, but with the former CU having a tarnished 'geek' reputation, it was a no go for the school 'cool kids'. This mean we had to rethink out tactics. After much thought and even more prayer, myself and a group of about 20 other Christians decided to launch 'Juiced!'
